Here is a second design with Regal Distressed Patterns Designer Paper. I began by using half of the paper I had cut for the first card; two cuts, 4″ X 5 1/4″ with a third, diagonal cut. The pieces were ready to glue to a Cherry Cobbler card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This time my focal point was a cup of hot cocoa, from Joyful Images Ephemera, attached with Dimensionals.

Hot Cocoa
I found the words, “nothing’s better than,” and “hot cocoa” in the Nothing Autumn Die Set. After cutting the words from Gold Foil, I glued them in place, and my second, quick & easy design was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun sketch challenge, and great to show off Stampin’ Up’s Regal Distressed Patterns Designer Paper. I began by cutting two of the papers, 4″ X 5 1/4″, then made a third, diagonal cut. After cutting, I glued them to a Cherry Cobbler card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I used a Golden Greenery Die to cut a branch from Gold Mercury Vellum. You don’t have to worry about glue showing through this vellum. Love it!

Season’s Greetings
Next, I stamped “Season’s Greetings” in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Spotlight On Nature Die for cutting. Then, I used two Spotlight On Nature Dies to cut a frame from Gold Foil, glued it on top of the sentiment, and attached it with Dimensionals.

To complete the card, I added a Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon. This picture shows the gold shine.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge: Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wheat, and Night Of Navy. Fun, fun, fun! Thinking about the colors, I chose to work with the Regal Flora Bundle. I began by stamping flowers in Blackberry Bliss Ink, and sprigs in Wild Wheat Ink, on Basic White Cardstock.

Regal Fora Bouquet
After stamping, I used the Regal Flora Dies for cutting, and placed them on Dimensionals. For the background, I used the Forever Plaid Embossing Folder to give texture to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This was glued to a Night Of Navy card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to attaching the flowers and sprigs with Dimensionals, I used a Regal Flora stamp to stamp tiny dots in Night Of Navy Ink.

“Thanks” is from the Regal Flora Stamp Set, stamped in Night Of Navy Ink, and cut with a Greetings Of The Season Die. The dies in this set have holes, ready for making tags, and the sprig went right through the hole. After adding three, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems, my card was complete.

Now, it’s your turn to use the colors in our challenge. Look for all of the Global Design Project Designers on Facebook and Instagram. Share your design and tag #GDP465 to play along with this challenge. You could be chosen as the winner!

Shepherd’s Care is a favorite stamp set from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. For today’s card, I stamped the shepherd and lambs in Early Espresso Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used a Countryside Corners Die for cutting.

Peace on Earth
For the background, I used Perennial Lavender Designer Paper, 3 7/8″ X 5 1/8″, layered on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. This was glued to a Highland Heather card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After gluing the shepherd to the card front, I used a Painted Lavender Die to cut Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, and glued it along the edge of the Countryside Corners die-cut.

To complete the card, I fussy cut a butterfly from Perennial Lavender DSP, glued it to the sentiment label (attached with Dimensionals), and added three, Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.

This weeks Global Design Project challenge is a theme: “celebrate.” I always need birthday cards, and was excited to use the Attention Shoppers Bundle.

Birthday Celebration
I began by stamping three, Attention Shoppers images, in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used their Attention Shoppers Dies for cutting, and colored them with Stampin’ Blends in five colors: Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake, and Pretty In Pink. Next, I used an Unbounded Love Die to cut three matching shapes from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and attached the images with Dimensionals.

The background is Country Lace Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 4″, glued to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I attached Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon with Tear & Tape, which is folded on the backside. “Happy Birthday” is from the Attention Shoppers Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with an Unbounded Love Die. It’s secured in place with Tear & Tape. To complete the card, I added a row of Adhesive Backed Rainbow Dots.

Now it’s your turn to find some products in your stash to create a “celebration” card. Look for all of the Global Design Project Designers on Facebook and Instagram. Share and tag #GDP463 to play along with this challenge.

This week’s Global Design Project is a fun sketch challenge, and I added more fun by using new products from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I began with a Gorgeous Grape card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Splendid Autumn Designer Paper. After gluing, I ran the entire card base through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Birch Wood Embossing Folder. It’s a new, larger size, embossing folder, which enabled me to do that.

Trending Locket
Next, I couldn’t wait to use the new, Autumn Expressions Dies to cut the “trending” frame and chain from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. After gluing those to the card front, I used the die a second time to cut the Splendid Autumn DSP with purple flowers.

“Thanks” is from the Regal Flora Stamp Set, stamped in VersaMark on Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder, and set with a Heat Tool. After cutting it to size, 1″ X 1/4″, I backed it with Splendid Autumn DSP, 1 1/8″ X 5/8″, and attached it with Dimensionals.
The pretty bow is new, Rustic Striped Ribbon in Wild Wheat, shredded, and attached with a Glue Dot.
