This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using: Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Pecan Pie. We’d love to see how you use this color combo. Please show off your creation on social media, and tag it #gdp513, so everyone can see it.

I began with Peace On Earth Dies, cutting two branches and three “star flowers” from Cajun Craze Cardstock and Crushed Curry Cardstock. Then, I used a Cheers & Sips Die to cut a “basket” from Woven Textures Designer Paper.

Just Because
Next, I cut Basic Beige Cardstock, 4″ X5 1/4″, embossed with the Peaceful Greenery Embossing Folder. Then I used a Peace On Earth Die to cut the center shape from Basic Beige Cardstock, and attached it with Dimensionals. This layer was glued to a Pecan Pie card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. After rounding the basket with my Bone Folder, I glued it in place by its edges. Then, I added the branches, and “star flowers” with Iridescent Pearl centers.

The sentiment, “just because” was created with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder and Die, and Basic Beige Cardstock. I used a Blending Brush with Pecan Pie Ink to add color to the embossing folder, before cutting. Last, but not least, I tucked a tiny, note card in the plant. It was cut from Basic White Cardstock with a Peace On Earth Die. Isn’t it adorable?

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE the talented, Stesha Bloodhart. We’d love to see what you create, so please tag it with #gdp512 when you share it on social media.

I used Scenic Adventure Dies for a Christmas card, with Branching Out Dies, a favorite from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalog (p.50), available September 3.

All is calm
I began with a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Floral Impressions Designer Paper, cut with the largest Branching Out Die. The same designer paper was used to cover the envelope flap (see first photo). The next layer is Pool Party Two-Tone Cardstock, cut with the second largest Branching Out Die.

Next, I used three, Scenic Mountain Dies to cut the mountains, trees, and moon. The trees were cut from Two-Tone Garden Green Cardstock, which had “snow” added by rubbing with an emery board. I also layered the trees for thickness, and gave them sparkle with Wink Of Stella. The mountains were cut from Basic White Cardstock, with a second cut using the second largest Branching Out Die. The moon was cut from Textured Metallic Specialty Paper. Prior to gluing the mountains, I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green Ink. “All is calm, all is bright” is from the Child Is Born Stamp Set, another favorite from the 2025 September-December Mini Catalog (p.16), available September 3.

This week’s Global Design Project is a theme challenge: letters or numbers.

I used Alphabet a La Mode Dies to cut “JOY” from a Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack, a favorite from the 2025 Holiday Catalog, available September 3. The letters were given dimension by attaching the Joyful Days Card, 2 1/4″ X 2″, to an Adhesive Foam Sheet of equal size, placing the letters on top of it, and rolling it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

JOY
Next, I used Branching Out Dies to cut three layers. These new dies are another favorite from the 2025 Holiday Catalog. Don’t you love dies that layer this way? The top layer is a Christmas tree, also cut from a Joyful Days Memories & More Card Pack. The middle layer is Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and the largest layer is Floral Delight Designer Paper, embossed with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder.

After cutting and gluing the layers, I glued them to a Soft Sea Foam card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I attached “JOY,” and my card was complete.

This week’s Global Design Project is an inspiring sketch challenge. See how our design team used the sketch. Then, we’d love to see your creation when you post it on social media. Be sure to tag it #gdp510.

I began with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, which I colored with a Blending Brush, Lost lagoon Ink, and a stencil. I created the circular stencil with a Stylish Shapes Die and Vellum. Because Vellum is see-through, it makes placement easy.

Extraordinary Flora
Next, I adhered Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape to Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5 1/2″. This Washi Tape is so much fun to use, because it picks up the color you adhere it to. If it gets a wrinkle while adhering, you can lift it, and press it flat again. After it was smooth, I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with its Extraordinary Flora Die. This die cuts the Washi Tape into 16 pieces, and I used 6 for today’s design; 4 attached with Dimensionals, and 2 glued flat. Then, I glued the layer to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

The sentiment, “For the extraordinary couple,” is from the Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss Ink, used a Delightful Wishes Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. As a final touch, I tucked three Purple Fine Shimmer Gems among the Flora.

This week’s Global Design Project is a color challenge, using: Darling Duckling, Poppy Parade, and Pool Party. We’d love to see how you use this color combo. Please show off your creation on social media, and tag it #gdp509, so everyone can see it.

I thought it would be fun to use “color blending” with the Layers of Beauty Decorative Masks. Since blue and yellow make green, I was able to have green leaves with my pretty flowers. And, the flowers are a combo of all three colors!

Color Blending
The masks are notched, and numbered, in the left hand corner, for lining up with the cardstock you are coloring. I cut my cardstock the same size as the masks, which also helps in lining up properly, 5″ X 6 5/8″. Using Blending Brushes, I varied the pressure, and amount of ink, to achieve lighter and darker colors. I recommend rinsing your masks and brushes in water, soon after completing your coloring, so they’ll be ready for your next project.

To give my bouquet a petty border, I used the largest Textured Notes Die for cutting the white cardstock. The sentiment, “God bless,” is in the Layers Of Beauty Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, very carefully, and breathed a sigh of relief. I didn’t want to make a mistake at this point. To complete my card, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE Rose Coleman’s adorable card. I love the background of hearts, so I used the same Fancy Borders Die to create a bunch of those hearts on my design, which you’ll see below. We’d love to see your CASE of Rose’s card, and don’t forget to tag it #gdp508.

I thought it would be fun to have bright hearts, and Celebratory Sips Designer Paper provided a rainbow of bright colors. I counted 28 hearts, but it didn’t take that long, because the die cut a bunch at a time.

“You brighten my day”
I used the Take Your Pick Tool to help arrange, and glue, the hearts to Basic White Cardstock. Before gluing, I used the largest Textured Notes Die to give the cardstock a pretty border. Then, I glued the layer to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I wanted the sentiment to have the word “bright,” and found “you brighten my day,” in the Spring Corners Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, used a Mixed Labels Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. Isn’t this sentiment label cute?
