This is my first time to use the Seabed Embossing Folder, which is perfect for this weeks, “aquatic” theme for Global Design Project. The embossed image gives you a unique coloring experience. If you like to color, this is for you!
Seabed
Instructions
Cut Pool Party Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut Shimmery White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and emboss with the Seabed Embossing Folder. After coloring, you will glue this layer to the card base.
I used Shimmery White Cardstock, because I thought it would provide a nice surface for the Stampin’ Blends, and I used a number of colors, which are named in my Product List below. WARNING: Don’t attempt unless you like tedious coloring.
Use the Sweet Silhouettes Die to cut “adventure” from Pool Party Cardstock, and glue on an angle. I like how the placement worked out for the “t” to swirl upward.
This card would be appropriate to celebrate a retirement, a birthday, or a vacation, don’t you think? Maybe we can travel one of these days!

What does a moose do in the summertime? He finds himself among Forever Greenery Designer Paper! Follow along to see my inspiration, instructions, July offers, and Product List.
Summertime Moose
Moose Punch insisted I show you this photo, in case you believe he should only be used at holiday time.
Moose Punch thought he would be the perfect focal point in this week’s Global Design Project sketch.
He said I should write these instructions:
Cut Garden Green Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut two pieces of Forever Greenery Designer Paper, 3 3/4″ X 5″, and glue to the card base on an angle, like the sketch.
Using the Painted Labels Die, cut a circle from Garden Green Cardstock, and place it on Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock 3 1/2″ X 1″, and use the Banner Triple Punch to cut the left side.
The sentiment, “time for a new adventure,” is from the Well Said Stamp Set. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink, give it texture with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, and glue to the circle.
Now for the moose! Use the Moose Punch to cut him from In Good Taste Designer Paper, in a wood patterned design. Punch three more moose from Early Espresso Cardstock, and glue them together, making the moose look like a wood carving. Place him on Dimensionals, and your card is complete!

There are endless possibilities with the Positive Thoughts stamp set. Today’s friendship card features a single, flower image, stamped in Global Design Project’s challenge colors. Keep scrolling to see instructions for this card, plus my supplies in the Product List below.
Positive Thoughts
Create a card using these colors, then click here to add you card to our gallery.
Instructions
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″, making your card base.
Cut Whisper White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Using Misty Moonlight Ink, randomly stamp the flower from the Positive Thoughts Stamp set, covering this layer. Glue to the card base.
Stamp three more flowers; two in Pool Party Ink and one in Petal Pink Ink. Cut with the Nature’s Thoughts Die, and glue to the card base. Embellish the centers with Woven Threads Sequins; small, medium, and large, approximating the flower’s colors.
Stamp the sentiment, “Friends like you mean more every year,” in Misty Moonlight Ink on Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. Use a second Ornate Frames Die to cut the fancy frame, glue the two together, and attach with Dimensionals.

Today’s Prized Peony was created using embossed Cardstock for the flower, with colors and layout to “case” Manuela’s beautiful card.
Textured Peony
Step by Step Instructions:
Cut Thick Whisper White Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, and fold in the middle at 4 1/4″ to make your card base.
Glue a Square Vellum Doily to the card base, as shown.
Hand paint stripes of Soft Sea Foam with a Stampin’ Blend across Whisper White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5″.
Use the Nature’s Thoughts Die to cut the striped layer, and adhere on top of the doily.
Cut the five “build a peony” flower parts from Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Emboss all, but the stamen, with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder.
Brush the edges of the petals using a Sponge Dauber and Blushing Bride Ink.
Slide the flower parts together, smallest to largest, matching the bottom edge, and adding a dot of glue to hold them together.
Stamp three leaves in Soft Sea Foam Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut with Peony Dies. Add color with a Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend.
Attach the flower and two leaves with Dimensionals. You’ll add the third leaf after placing the sentiment.
The sentiment, “for you” is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set. Stamp it in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, cut with the smallest Stitched Nested Labels Die, and tuck under the flower with a dot of glue. Now, add that third leaf.
For a touch of blue, like Manuela, add some Woven Threads Sequins, and you’re done!

The theme for today’s Global Design Project is “sun fun.”
I love the images in the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set. These sisters are having fun collecting seashells at the beach. Follow along to see how easy it is to recreate this scene.
Collecting Seashells
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut Sahara Sand Cardstock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, fold in the middle at 4 1/4″.
Layer with Sahara Sand Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Frames Die.
Use the next largest Ornate Frames Die to cut Whisper White Cardstock, making a lovely frame.
Stamp the image of the sisters in Crumb Cake Ink in the middle of the white frame. Use Stampin’ Blends for coloring; Crumb Cake (hair and skin), Pool Party (dresses), and Soft Sea Foam (pails).
Stamp “collect beautiful moments” in Crumb Cake Ink, as shown. TIP: Use the Stamparatus to insure it stamps properly.
Adhere the frames to the card base, and scatter some seashells (Woven Threads Sequins) in the sand. Now isn’t that a beautiful moment!

It’s so much fun using new products, and I’ve been looking forward to playing with the new bundle, Nothing’s Better Than. I have a sweet tooth, and I love this sentiment, ” Today’s plan: consume cookies.” Sometimes the truth hurts, and it can also be funny! LOL.
Consume Cookies
Follow these instructions, if you’d like to duplicate this card, so you’ll have cookies to consume:
Begin with a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card base of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
Cut a 1″ X 5 1/4″ strip from the new Rainbow Glimmer Paper, and glue to the right side of a 4″ X 5 1/4″ Whisper White Cardstock layer. It comes with two 12″ X 12″ pieces in a pack, and a little will go a long way.
For the word, “cookies,” cut a 2 1/4″ X 1″ piece of a Foam Adhesive Sheet. Peel the paper from one side, and adhere the same size piece of Rainbow Glimmer Paper. Place the Love You More Than Die on top, and run it through your die cutting machine. TIP: Run it through several times, if necessary, until there’s a clean cut.
Stamp four cookies in Early Espresso Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, and one on Crumb Cake. Color them by using the “solid” cookie stamp, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped off on three of them.
Use the Love You More Than Die for cutting, and place them on Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die, and place on Dimensionals.
You can see how the Global Design Project sketch provided inspiration for my design. I first saw bubbles, but they turned into cookies. What do you see? Come join the fun, and play along.
