Global Design Project 500th Celebration

For this week’s Global Design Project, we are having a 500th Project Celebration!!! We thought it would be fun to CASE one another, and I was excited to CASE Ann Alexander from Australia. I began with the cake from the Along These Lines Stamp Set, stamping it twice in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After fussy cutting the birthday cake, I added some color with three Stampin’ Blends: Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath, and Soft Sea Foam.

Next, I used a Stylish Shapes Die to cut three circles from the same colors of cardstock. Then, I used the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder to give them texture. The circles were glued to Basic White Cardstock, 3 7/8 X 5 1/8, which was backed with Bubble Bath cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/2″. Both layers were glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

“Happy Birthday” is from the new, The Right Words Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, and cut with a Stylish Shapes Die. The sentiment is completed on the inside, “To someone worth celebrating every single day!” After using Dimensionals to attach the sentiment, and cakes, on the card front, my CASE was complete.
