For this week’s Global Design Project, we get to CASE Kim Fee. You can click on her card to see how the other designers cased her beautiful card. Then you can give “caseing” a try!
I began with the idea of yellow flowers, and chose daffodils from the wonderful Daffodil Daydream Bundle.

Easter Daffodils
There are 24 dies in the Daffodil Die Set, so you have to take time to organize. These pictures were used to figure things out, and they were very helpful:
I used the bud in the first photo, and the flower in the second photo, but not the third flower; cutting the parts from Simply Marbleous Designer Paper. This paper is one of the FREE items you can choose with a qualifying $50.00 order.
After cutting the stems and leaves from Beauty Of The Earth Designer Paper, I glued the flower parts together, and the flowers to the stems.
To create the angled square I used a Sponge Dauber with Pear Pizzazz Ink for coloring a Square Vellum Doily. Ink takes longer to dry on Vellum, so give it time.
For the background, I embossed Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Once the flowers, stems, and leaves were glued to the card front, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink, and used the Message Die for cutting.
“Easter Blessings” is in the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set, perfect for this springtime flower.
I secured a loop of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon with Glue Dots, beneath the sentiment, which was attached with Dimensionals.
My February Host Code Gift
Just type the current host code (found beneath my profile picture) in the box provided, on your order of $75.00 or more, and I will send you the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks in March.
Create textured and colored backgrounds with Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks. These stencils are an easy way to blend colors on your cards and other paper crafting projects. You can use the background masks on their own. But your images will really pop when you layer the detailed masks over the backgrounds to get even more depth and dimension. Use with Classic Stampin’ Ink and coloring tools such as Blending Brushes and Sponge Daubers for beautiful color. You can also use them with Embossing Paste and Palette Knives for textured designs.
