Welcome to the Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators Fun Folds Blog Hop. There’s a lineup below to make it easy for you to hop along.
For today’s card, I’m showcasing the Delightful Wishes Bundle and coordinating designer paper. This fun fold looks complicated, but the good news is, it’s not!

Delightful Wishes Fun Fold
I began with a card base of Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, scored on the long side, 3″, 6″, and 7 1/4″, and folded. The top piece is 3″ X 8 1/2″, scored on the long side at 4 1/4″, and folded in half.
After cutting and folding, I glued Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 1/4″ X 2 3/4″, and 5 1/4″ X 1″, to the front of the card base. I also glued Gingham Vellum, 2/3/4″ X 4″, to the front of the top piece. Then, I decorated the top piece with fussy cut flowers, and In Color Resin Dots. “Lots of love” is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with a Delightful Wishes Die. I snipped the left side of the label to make it shorter.
The trickiest part of the fun fold is gluing the top piece to the card base. I glued only the portion that touches the card base, while laying it folded, and flat, to insure the edges were even. I glued the front first ( just 1″ of glue), and the back (2 1/2″ of glue).
To complete the inside, I used Floral Delight Designer Paper, 5 14″ X 2 3/4″, which I cut with a Delightful Wishes Die to make a cute pattern.
After gluing the designer paper, I used Delightful Wishes Dies to cut “wishing” from Thick Basic White Cardstock, and the backing from Floral Delight DSP in Old Olive. After gluing “wishing,” I completed the sentiment with “you a happy birthday.” This is from the Delightful Wishes Stamp Set, stamped in Old Olive Ink, and cut with another Delightful Wishes Die. The flower was fussy cut from Floral Delight DSP, and attached with a Dimensional, as a final touch.
