Today’s Valentine begins with an easy, Vellum cardstock, technique.
It’s a matter of placing a pre-cut piece of vellum in an embossing folder, and running it through the Big Shot. In this case, I used the Lace Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder, and it was so much fun seeing the results!

Vellum Valentine
My inspiration for the design was from this week’s TGIF sketch.
Now that I had my background, I knew just the place to go to find those two hearts. All My Love Designer Series Paper has a pattern of beautiful, floral, hearts in two sizes. And, the best news is, the Be Mine Stitched die set has two dies that will cut them out perfectly!
I added Thick Whisper White cardstock trim around the larger heart, glued it down, and placed the smaller heart on dimensionals.

For the horizontal strip, I fastened a piece of White Flax ribbon with Tear & Tape, and fringed the ends.
TIP: I did the fringing by using a pin to take out a couple rows of cross threads.

All I need is love, do do do do do, love is all I need.” Are you singing with me?
I found “love” in the Well Written die set, cut this wonderful word from Thick Whisper White cardstock, and glued it in place. Easy!

This happens to be a Valentine, but hearts are meant for year-round occasions. Keep scrolling to see my supply list, where my store is open for your ordering pleasure. Thank you for stopping by today!
