It’s November 2nd, and the day is finally here…..you can order the “early release,” Eden’s Garden. I thought it was only appropriate to use Eden’s Garden for today’s card. You can now order from pictured, direct links to my store. YAY!

The first thing I did was cut this adorable, rectangular wreath, from Brushed Metallic Cardstock, with an Eden’s Garden Die.

Next, I created my own background paper, using three, Eden’s Garden Stamps, with three colors of ink: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Real Red.

I love how the “Distinktive” stamps in the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set give natural shading of dark and light.

I stamped the foliage on Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, then cut it to size with the second largest Stitched Rectangles Die. This layer was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

For the sentiment, I cut a second wreath from Basic White Cardstock, using only the center to stamp “wishing you a joyful Christmas and happy new year.”  The sentiment is from the Tidings and Trimmings Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink. I glued the sentiment, inside the wreath, on the card front at the same time. 

To complete my design, I embellished it with a bow of Simply Elegant Trim, and some Metallic Pearls.
