You’ll want to let me know right away, before someone else selects it, because these bundles are one-of-a-kind. I will remove the ones that are selected, and mail them ASAP.

Now, for today’s card, which is very special. Forty years ago, on February 1st, I married the love of my life. We’ve been in Florida celebrating, but I made my sweet husband this card ahead of time. I began by cutting the heart with an Endless Love Die from Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper. Then, I backed it with cardstock, and created a “pocket” by molding it with a Bone Folder. I glued the sides, and placed Dimensionals at the top, so it would keep its shape. The background is a striped pattern of Brushed with Beauty Designer Paper, 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″, glued to Very Vanilla Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″. The card base is Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I stamped “forever & always,”  from the Lifetime Of Love Stamp Set, in Early Espresso Ink.

40th Anniversary

The foliage in the “pocket” of the heart was cut with Petals Of Beauty Dies from Brushed With Beauty Designer Paper and Very Vanilla Cardstock.

To complete the card, I added three Antique Pearls. I wore his mom’s pearl necklace on our wedding day, so it seemed appropriate.
