I’ve been wanting to use the flower from the Support Ribbon Framelits set, and this would be the day! I could see this stylized flower in white on white. Yes, this would be another wedding card. My daughter’s wedding is just one month from now!
As I was thinking about this flower, I also wanted to apply it to two challenges. Leigh’s sketch was so pretty at CAS(E) this sketch, and this flower would work in her design.
For the Tic Tac Toe challenge, I would choose the middle row across: dimension, embellishment, framelit die-cut.
I began with a card base of Thick Whisper White, and layered it with Smokey Slate striped Designer Series Paper. The top layer would be more Thick Whisper White, and I cut (framelit die-cut) five flowers and four leaves from the same cardstock. I decided on the placement of the flowers; a partial flower in the corner, and two full flowers along with their leaves.
I put dimensionals on the bottom of the two flowers, and bent the top layer of the flowers before gluing them together. This added dimension for the Tic Tac Toe challenge.
White Perfect Accents fit perfectly in their centers for embellishment. And, for more embellishment I put a strip of Gingham Ribbon below the flowers.
I stamped “For the Newlyweds” from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Basic Black, and punched it out with the Classic Label Punch. This was placed on dimensionals, and my final layer was complete.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. I really appreciate your comments!
