You’ll never guess what I saw last night! There was a reindeer in our yard, and not just any reindeer. Shhhh, I think it was Rudolf! I could tell by the way his nose was glowing. It was after the sun went down, so I just caught a glimpse of him silhouetted against the night sky. He must have been doing a practice run in preparation for December 24th.

I wanted to get it down on paper, so I wouldn’t forget what I saw. The deer looked just like the die in the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits set. And, I’d remember the Cherry Cobbler glow from his nose by using the Layering Circles die to surround him. The Garden Green, Be Merry DSP would remind me of the starry sky. I would use the Ticket Tear Border Punch on the strip of black print, Merry Music DSP, to tie the whole experience together.

My memory looked surprisingly nice, and if I added a sentiment, it could be a Christmas card. I found “Joy To The World” (because Rudolf flies around the world) in the Hearts Come Home stamp set.
Since my sighting had taken me this far, I thought I may as well enter it in a couple challenges. It seemed to fit two perfectly.
I appreciate you stopping by my blog. We’ll just keep this a secret, okay? I don’t think Santa wants the children to know that Rudolf has to practice.

A lovely Christmas card. Great that you’ve included traditional red and green, and enough white space to keep it CAS.
Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge, Anita x
This is one fabulous Christmas card! I love that silhouette reindeer in the frame you’ve created with the backdrop of that wonderful snow falling DSP. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!
Thanks, Narelle! I enjoyed the challenge!
Love this Christmas card. Have all the making to make some. Also loved the Gingham Cat Anniversary card. My daughter and her hubby are cat lovers and this they would love.
Thank you, Maureen! I’m so glad you like my cards. I’m loving the animals!
