This card was so “quick & easy,” I added a tiny embellishment to spend more time with it! Can you see it?
I must confess, that tiny embellishment is also to cover up a missing “stitch.” This happened when I used a second Stitched Rectangles Die to make the white rectangle fit within the gold. It seemed to really show up against the gold, so I added some Faceted Dots and a Pearl. My tiny flower adds character, don’t you think?
The sentiment is from the Country Home Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink, and glued to one of the fabulous shapes of Forever Gold Laser-cut DSP.
The card base is Shaded Spruce, topped with a layer of Whisper White Cardstock with a 2″ strip of Forever Greenery Designer Paper on the left side. I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder for added interest.
