If “fun & easy” is the name of your game, you should try this card, created with Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper. The round wreath is one of the many “punch-outs” that is part of the Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper. Click on the picture in my Product List to see all of the selections. I began with a Petal Pink card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with one of the patterns, 4″ X 5 1/4″.

Window Sheet Experiment

As an experiment, I cut a round piece of Window Sheet to glue beneath the wreath. The largest, round, Stylish Shapes Die was just a guide, because I had to cut through the Window Sheet with scissors. Next, I stamped the sentiment, from the Sharing Loving Crafting Stamp Set, in Pretty Peacock Ink on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used the 1 3/4″ Stylish Shapes circle die for cutting. The vertical strip was cut with a Delightful Wishes Die from another pattern of Frames & Flowers Specialty Paper, and glued across the back of the sentiment circle. Then, both were glued on top of the Window Sheet and wreath, and all were lifted above the card front on Mini Dimensionals.

To complete my card, I added three Iridescent Foil Gems. This design could easily be turned into a “shaker” card, but I was concentrating on Global Design Project’s sketch challenge.

Here is the Global Design Project sketch. We’d love to see what you do with it, and don’t forget to tag it #GDP486.
