Today’s clean & simple card uses one of my favorite techniques, stencilling. 

Stenciled Leaves

I began by cutting a Friends For Life, leaf die, from Basic White Cardstock. Then, using this as a stencil, I applied ink with Small Blending Brushes to Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. I placed the stencil randomly, and used three colors of ink: Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, and Lemon Lime Twist. After coloring, I glued my leaves to a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. 

The sentiment, “You’re a true blessing,” is from the Unbounded Love Stamp Set. I stamped it in Memento Black Ink, and used an Unbounded Love Die for cutting. This die is extra cute, because it cuts in two pieces, so you could choose a different colored frame.
