Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is CASE the Catalog. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Stampin’ Up! catalogs are beautifully done, and offer lots of inspiration. My CASE is the Timeless Arrangements card on page 154.
I am sharing a Fun Fold card that was given the name “bridge.” I added a card base to the back, making it an easel card, so we can call the design a “bridge/easel” card.

“Bridge-Easel” Fun Fold
First, I created the card base by cutting a piece of 12″ X 12″ Basic White Cardstock, 10 3/4″ X 5 1/2″. After cutting, I scored it on each end, 1 1/4″, 2 1/4″, and 3 1/4″. My Paper Trimmer made this very easy to do. Then, I folded and burnished the scored lines, accordion style.
To decorate the card base, I cut two pieces of Basic White Cardstock, just a spec smaller than 1 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, and one piece, just a spec smaller than 4″ X 5 1/2″. I prefer this, so there’s no chance of it hanging over the edge.
After cutting, I used a stenciling technique with an Artistic Mix Decorative Mask, and Boho Blue Ink for coloring. I positioned the mask on top of the cardstock, smoothing on the ink with a Blending Brush, while holding it in place with my hand. After coloring, I glued the three stenciled pieces to the card base.
Next, I created the “bridge”, using the Timeless Arrangements Bundle, with dies to cut foliage from three colors of cardstock: Mossy Meadow, Moody Mauve, and Soft Sea Foam.
A stamp was also used to stamp flowers in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, they were cut with their die, and colored with Mossy Meadow and Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends.
Finally, the flowers and foliage were glued to the back of Basic White Cardstock, cut with a Timeless Arrangements label die. This rectangular die-cut was the perfect size for my “bridge!”
The sentiment, “I really appreciate you,” is from the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Basic White Cardstock, used the same Timeless Arrangements label die for cutting, and glued them together.
While adhering the “bridge” to the card base, I was careful to glue only the portion on the sides, and not the area in the opening.
After gluing, I put the weight of a Clear Block on the card to make sure the glue was set.
The last step was adhering the “bridge” card to a card base that folds at the top, making it an “easel” card. I used Boho Blue Cardstock for the card base, 8 1/2 X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and added Basic White Cardstock for the greeting inside, 4″ X 5 1/4″.
Thank you for visiting. Wishing you a wonderful summer!
