The Traditions Of St. Nick Designer Paper has the cutest gingerbread men that can be fussy cut. They wanted me to give them names, so I said, “you are Gin, Ger, and Bread.” I don’t think they liked their names, but were satisfied to be featured on a card. Then, they started chanting, “we want scalloping, we want scalloping!” So, I cut Basic White Cardstock with a Scalloped Contours Die, 3 3/4″ X 2 1/2″, and they hopped on, held securely with Dimensionals.

Gingerbread Men

For more scalloping, I used a size larger, Scalloped Contours Die, to cut Crumb Cake Cardstock. This was glued to a Thick Basic White card base, embossed with a 3D Basics Embossing Folder, available in Online Exclusives. 

Prior to attaching the top layer, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler Ink. “May the Christmas season fill your home” is from the Saint Nicholas Stamp Set.

Gen, Ger, and Bread, asked me to add candy canes, and dots of sugar, which I thought was a good idea. They also pointed out that I could have as many gingerbread men as I wanted, because the Saint Nicholas Bundle has a stamp and a die for cutting.
