Balloons are synonymous with birthdays, right? For today’s card, I have to, first, show you my inspiration; the colors, and the upside down sketch from Fusion.

I was inspired by Fusion.

My bouquet of round balloons was cut with the smallest Layering Circles Die, and the bow is a Sentiments Silhouettes Die.

To get the pastel colors, I used Blending Brushes with four colors of Ink: Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, and Pool Party. After cutting the balloons and bows, I positioned them, along with the strings, stamped in Gray Granite. This string is from a long retired stamp set, Party Pants. It was among my first stamp sets when joining Stampin’ Up!, and you can see it in my Product List below.

The card base is Gray Granite Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″.

The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set, cut with its Sentiments Silhouettes Die. I stamped “wishing you the happiest of birthdays” in Gray Granite Ink, attached it with Dimensionals, and my birthday card was complete.
