Stampin’ Up! releases two new, kits, every month!  The instructions, and all of the supplies are in each kit, along with decorative envelopes. You’ll find all of the available kits in my Online Exclusives below.

This is April’s Hooray for Honeycomb Kit, with enough supplies to make nine cards (3 each of 3 designs). The first thing I did was look at the instructions, punch out everything, and separate the “ingredients” for each design.

Hooray For Honeycomb Kit

Card number one is a “congratulations” card. Don’t you love the colorful rainbow? Full Dimensionals were used to lift the clouds, and Dimensionals that I cut in half were used to lift the sun rays. The real fun is on the inside, when you open a paper honeycomb piece for the sun.

The second card makes a great birthday card. Notice the decorated envelope, and the honeycomb balloon on the inside. There’s plenty of Baker’s Twine for a bow on the card front, adhered with a glue dot.

This time the honeycomb piece is on the front. These honeycomb pieces have peel-and-stick on both sides. To fit it in the envelope, I would adhere one side, and let the recipient open and stick the other half.
