This weeks Global Design Project is a fun sketch. See how our designers used the sketch, then create your own design, and hang it in our gallery.
I began by stamping the artistic leaves from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set. They were stamped in Old Olive Ink on two corners of Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5″.
After stamping the leaves, I embossed the cardstock with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder. This was glued to Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper in a striped pattern on a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I cut the blossoms from Bright & Beautiful Designer Paper, using a Dainty Delights Die. The die has two attached blossoms, so I ran it through extra times, snipped the third blossoms for my design, and glued them in place.
The small “thanks” is from the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Blackberry Ink, cut with its Wonderful Thoughts Die, and glued in place.

Su, I love this pretty, sweet card. Between the Inked and tiled flowers and the embossed background, the card is stunning. Enjoy your day!
Thank you, Hilda! Have a wonderful day!
Like how you used the small sentiment as to not take away from the front of the card design is perfect.
Thank you, Nancy Sue! I really like small sentiments!
