This month the Kre8tors Blog Hop is all about Valentines and Love. Hearts are wonderful for making Valentines, but they are just as wonderful for making wedding cards. Today I’m sharing a white on white wedding card, with just a touch of color.

Wedding Heart

My Thick Whisper White heart is from the Be Mine Stitched die set in the Occasions 2019 catalog. After cutting the heart with the die, I embossed it with the Lace Textured embossing folder, which takes it to a new level of “wow.!”

TIP: I was careful to place the heart, so the embossed design would be symmetrical.

The white branch behind the heart is made with a favorite, Petals & More die, also cut from Thick Whisper White cardstock.

How do you like the hearts of color? They were made with a die from the Be Mine Stitched die set, which I used for cutting a stencil. Then, holding the stencil in place, I Sponge Daubed Pool Party ink across a lower portion of the art piece.

Before adhering the art piece to the Thick Whisper White card base, I attached some Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. It seems perfect for a wedding card, doesn’t it?

The sentiment, “Congratulations,” is from the Petal Palette stamp set, stamped in Black ink, and cut with a Petals & More die. This was raised on dimensionals, as was the heart.

I finished the inside with a sentiment from the Better Together stamp set, “All the Best for a future filled with love!”

The heart was stamped in Pool Party ink with a stamp from Meant To Be, and cut with a Be Mine Stitched die.

I embossed the envelope flap with a Petal Pair embossing folder for added detail.

After a sprinkling of a few Iridescent Sequins, my wedding card was complete.
