Can you believe it’s the first day of November? How about some metallic shine on a holiday card; ready to send for Thanksgiving or Christmas! The glistening bough was cut from Rose Gold Foil with a Decorated Pines Die.

Metallics and Texture
Next, I used the fourth largest Deckled Rectangles Dies to cut Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, and the third largest to cut Splendid Day Designer Paper. I also embossed the copper colored foil with the Hive Embossing Folder.

The card base is Thick Basic White Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. For additional texture, I embossed the card front with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder.

“From our home to yours” is from the Leaves Of Holly Stamp Set, stamped in Early Espresso Ink, cut with the smallest Stitched Rectangles Die, and attached with Dimensionals.

I was inspired by The Paper Players, and used a diagonal row: metallic-texture-stitching.

I love this card. I actually want to tell you that I love ALL your cards!! I love your style and creativity. You are one of my very few favorite on-line card makers! Thanks for all your inspiration and ideas!
Hi Su, I love this beautiful card using the rose gold foil pine branch. I think you have a glitch in your blog. For the past 2-3 days when I opened it, it had the name of that day’s post centered and in large letters. If I click on that, it says “error” “not_found” “message”. “The specified path was not found”… etc. If I click on Aromas and Art which is in a smaller font on the upper right, it takes me to your blog as it has been in the past. Just thought I’d bring this to your attention because you may be losing viewers since this is a little more cumbersome to get to your beautiful cards. Enjoy your day!
Thank you for telling me, Hilda! It’s a problem with WordPress, and I’m working on having it changed.
