I love the elegance of white and gold cards, and today’s card has a uniquely stamped, gold embossed, sentiment.
First, I used a Pine Woods Die to cut a tree from Brushed Metallic Cardstock, and backed it with a second tree for thickness.
Then, I used a plain Layering Squares Die to cut a square from Whisper White Cardstock, and a scalloped Layering Squares Die to frame it in Brushed Metallic Cardstock.
Next, I placed the square on my Stamparatus, then bent the sentiment from the Festive Corners Stamp Set to fit around the Pine Woods tree die. Once positioned, I stamped VersaMark on the sentiment, and pressed it to the square. After lifting the square from the Stamparatus, I sprinkled the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder, set it with the Heat Tool, and glued the tree in place.
Behind the square is another shade of Brushed Metallic Cardstock, cut with an Ornate layers Die.
The background is Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Evergreen Forest Embossing Folder. This layer is glued to a Thick Whisper White card base, 8 1/2” X 5 1/2”, folded at 4 1/4”.
I was inspired by CAS(E) this sketch.

I notice you use the ornate layered die cut a lot. I am a fellow demonstrator. I have a hard time with the die cutting the intricate parts of the die. Do you have a secret? I am getting very furstrated with this die and the
Pine woods die
Sometimes cutting is easier than other times. I use the bristle brush that comes with the Take Your Pick Tool to remove the tiny pieces of paper from the die-cut and the die. I make sure that the die is clean of paper for the next cut, because that can interfere. I try to enjoy the process, and not get frustrated, which can be hard!
Lovely card Su. You are a great inspiration.
