Musical Thanks

Today’s card began by stamping the curvy keyboard in Memento Black Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I stamped five times, in a row, and used a Layering Circles Die for cutting. Next, I layered the keyboards on a circle of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock, cut with a scalloped Layering Circles Die, a spec larger.

TIP: Because the keyboard stamp is photopolymer, I was able to see through it to “eyeball” the placement.

Besides being see-through, photopolymer stamps have other good qualities. For instance, I was able to bend the stamp to conform to the shape of the circle. Before attaching the circle of keys, I stamped “just a note” in Call Me Clover Ink.

I completed the sentiment with “of thanks,” stamped in Call Me Clover Ink, and cut with a Stitched So Sweetly Die. This is a great die set that has been out of stock, but it is available now. YAY! You can see the entire set in my Product List.

For the background, I stamped the staff in Memento Black Ink, and used a Lasting Elegance Die to cut the border. I just love this border, don’t you? It lets the Call Me Clover card base peek through.

I was inspired by the Fusion challenge; the photo colors, theme, and sketch.

Now for exciting news!

First of all, this month’s Host Code gift is something I know you’ll want in your collection. It’s the new, fabulous, Ornate Floral Embossing Folder! I’ve already used it on a number of my cards, and it adds gorgeous texture. Just add my Host Code (DGMYPXET) in the box provided when you order a minimum of $50.00 in the month of May, and I will send the embossing folder to you in June.

Secondly, I’m having a drawing for two items: the Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set AND the Small Bloom Punch. Your name will be entered in the drawing when you place a minimum $100.00 order in May.

This is Stampin’ Up’s list of retiring items, so click here, then click on “Last-Chance Products” in my store. Order those bundles now while you get the 10% savings, and earn the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder from me, plus a chance to win the Small Bloom Punch and Thoughtful Blooms Stamp Set.

Last, but not least, if you are a customer of mine, you will be receiving the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog sometime in May, with ordering beginning June 3rd. The catalog happens to have a brand new stamp set (page 48) that coordinates with the Small Bloom Punch!
Call Me Clover and Lovely Lipstick are two of the five retiring colors, so order now while supplies last.

Thanks so much for stopping by. My birthday is in May, so I’m especially happy to have you celebrating with me!
