Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper is for all four seasons. This circle of flowers is spring time “thanks.”

Painted Seasons Thanks
I wanted to make the colorful flowers pop against white, so the card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of regular weight, Whisper White cardstock. The Whisper White layer is not without lots of texture. Don’t you think the Country Floral embossing makes a nice background? I’m in love with this new Sale-A-Bration embossing folder, that you can get for FREE with a 50.00 order.
Clicking on the picture in my Product List below takes you to my store where you can place your order.

The Painted Seasons DSP was cut with the largest Stitched Shapes circle die, and layered for thickness. TIP: This gives it a nice feel, plus, makes it lay nicely on the bumpy embossing.
Next, I used a Well Written die to cut the word, “thanks” from Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I layered it also, and glued it in place.

Now, all I needed was a butterfly for this week’s TGIF challenge.
I made Wood Texture butterflies for a previous project. Remember?

For this project, I stamped my single butterfly in Early Espresso ink using a stamp from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. The Stamparatus came in handy for perfect placement. My butterfly was attached with dimensionals, flying towards the fragrant blossoms.
To connect the butterfly and “thanks” I added a sweet, little Frosted Flower embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Su, this card makes my kitty loving heart so happy. I love that you placed Lacey in front of the floral backgrounds – perfect choice. I also love that she’s watching the butterflies. Fabulous card
