Paradise Garden for Stampin’ Fancy Friday

The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month it’s a challenge all about embossing.

To begin, I used the Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder with Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. It does embossing and cutting at the same time, which makes it a “hybrid.” You place the die inside the embossing folder with the cardstock, and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Do you see how some of the leaves are lifted? Then, I colored it with a Blending Brush and Mossy Meadow Ink. After coloring, I glued this layer to a Basic Beige card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. I was careful not to glue the cut leaves that I wanted to be raised.

Next, I used a Fragrant Layers Die to cut the flowers from Brushed with Beauty Designer Paper, and attached them to the card front with Dimensionals. The blossoms were cut with another Fragrant Layers Die from Very Vanilla Cardstock, and attached with Dimensionals.

“You are appreciated” is from the Paradise Garden Stamp Set. I stamped it in Mossy Meadow Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock, used a Paradise Garden Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. To complete the “soft” look, I added three, Antique Pearls.
