I was excited to receive the new, Patchwork Pieces Dies, and couldn’t wait to get started! You can see all of my supplies in my Product List below. After experimenting a bit, I found  a good way to keep the cut pieces lined up.

I began with Basic White Cardstock, 3 3/4″ X 5 1/4″. Then, I placed the die in the center, which cut six, perforated pieces, but it’s the frame I used for this card. I gave the frame texture with a Basics 3D Embossing Folder, and glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.

Next, I used the same die to cut Hello Irresistible Designer Paper, and this time I used the six, cut pieces. After gluing them inside the frame, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Hello” is from the Cottage Wreaths Stamp Set, the perfect size for my space.

To complete the card, I used Cheerful Daisy Dies to cut the largest flower from the same Hello Irresistible Designer Paper. I wanted the flower to blend in, so it wouldn’t take away from the new, perforated pattern. The last touch was adding a white branch, cut from Basic White Cardstock, with a Cheerful Daisy Die.
