Penciled Pear and Country Lace

The Penciled Pear Stamp Set has been sitting on my shelf, just waiting to be “paired” with Country Lace Designer Paper and Everyday Details Dies!

I began by stamping the large pear in Mossy Meadow Ink on a pattern of Country Lace Designer Paper. After stamping, I used an Everyday Details Die for cutting, layered it with cardstock for thickness, and placed it on Dimensionals. I was careful to match the holes.

For the background, I cut another pattern of Country Lace DSP 4″ X 5 1/4″, and glued it to a Wild Wheat card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Prior to gluing, I stamped the row of pears, keeping them subtle by stamping in Basic Beige Ink. I also attached Wild Wheat Rustic Striped Ribbon slightly above the row of pears.

Next, I stamped “it’s your day” in Mossy Meadow Ink on the same DSP, and used the smallest Everyday Details Die for cutting. After layering it for thickness, I attached it with Dimensionals. This is one of the sentiments in the Penciled Pear Stamp Set. Don’t you love the font?

The final detail was adding four Faux Glass Dots. These dots are gorgeous, and the colors matched perfectly!
