A large circle makes a great focal point, and today it’s filled with Poinsettias. I cut the poinsettias from Boughs Of Holly Designer Paper, using the largest, plain, Layering Circles Die. Then, I used the largest, scalloped, Layering Circles Die to cut Garden Green Cardstock, glued them together, and placed my circle on Dimensionals.

Circle of Poinsettias

The card base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. This is layered with two sections of cardstock. The top Garden Green layer is 4″ X 2″, layered with Basic White, 3 7/8″ X 1 7/8″. The bottom Garden Green layer is 4″ X 3″, layered with Basic White, 3 7/8″ X 2 7/8″.

Prior to gluing the layers together, the Basic White Cardstock layers were embossed with a Wintry Embossing Folder.

I found the sentiment, “Merry Christmas,” in the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set, which was just the right size to fit the Double Oval Punch. After stamping it in Cherry Cobbler Ink on Basic White Cardstock, I attached it with Dimensionals. Quick and easy, huh?

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.
