Happy Sunday! Welcome to my blog with a Corner Fold Technique card.

Daisy Corner Fold
I came up with the elements by using our Paper Player’s Tic Tac Toe challenge, choosing the diagonal row: patterned paper, die-cut, leaves.

The Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper is a patterned paper with leaves, which I chose for my card front, cut the same size as the card base, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″.
The card base is Crumb Cake, coordinating with the burlap background in the print.

I embossed the card base with the Subtle Textured Embossing Folder, because it would be exposed by the Corner Fold Technique.
This technique works well when you like both side of the DSP, as you see with this pretty, script design in Rococo Rose.
You simply fold down the corner of the DSP, and glue all but the corner to the card base.

The corner is fastened with a daisy, which was made with burlap DSP from the same Pressed Petals paper pack, and a Mossy Meadow center.
I used the Medium Daisy Punch, the 1/2″ Circle Punch, and Dimensionals for my daisy. The petals were layered for thickness, and the center was embossed and rounded with a stylus.
“Thanks” was cut from the same burlap DSP with a die from the Well Written die set, and layered for thickness.

I hope I inspired you to try this Corner Fold Technique. My supplies are in my Product List below, and I appreciate you shopping at my store. Thank you!

I mail more than a hundred handmade cards a year and always looking for flatter versions of cards. Because postage is expense to use a box. Any suggestions for mailing?
Hi Sue, The majority of my cards are flat enough to use Stampin’ Up’s medium envelopes without a problem. You can also use heavier weight 5X7 envelopes, or bubble wrap type envelopes, but there is extra postage.
So pretty, Su! Wow!
