Punch Cat Says You Are Simply Amazing

Punch Cat jumped into this “O” as soon as I received my Stampin’ Blends (Light and Dark Crumb Cake colored him) and Large Letter Dies a couple months ago. I wanted to see how the letters looked in this leaf pattern from the Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper. Somehow, he was set aside, but not forgotten.

Things fell into place today as he was joined my the “Y”, the “U”, and the two Sale-A-Bration sets, Amazing You, and Celebrate You. The word “amazing” was cut with the Celebrate You die set using Pear Pizazz cardstock, and “are simply” was stamped from the Amazing You stamp set.

Punch Cat is rather shy, and wanted to hide among the leaves, provided by the Layered Leaves embossing folder. And, he liked that the Crumb Cake card base matched his fur.

The real purpose of the card is to wish someone a happy birthday, so here’s a peek at the inside. I just discovered this greeting in the new Birthday Wit stamp set. Isn’t the font great! Punch Cat was playing with the Washi Tape, but I was able to get it away from him long enough to add a piece to the bottom.

Do you like the envelope flap? I don’t do this often enough, and it’s really very easy. Just cut a piece of DSP, 5 3/4 X 2 1/4, glue to the flap. The envelope makes a guide for your scissors, which makes for easy trimming.

Punch Cat is very glad I finally finished this birthday card. I guess I was waiting for Sale-A-Bration!

Have a great day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
