I’m having more fun with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle and Dandy Garden Designer Paper. Both will be available to Demonstrators December 1, 2020, and customers January 5, 2021. If you’d like to join Strampin’ Up!, and order early from the 2021 January-June, Mini Catalog, I’d love for you to be a part of my Dream Makers Team. Just click on the button below.
Today’s card is great for beginners, because it’s quick and easy, especially if you eliminated the die-cut border. But, since I have the Ornate Layers Dies, I used the largest one for cutting a piece of Dandy Garden Designer Paper. Isn’t the paper wonderful, with all the tiny, Bumblebee colored, dandelions?
Next, I stamped the foliage, and sentiment, from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set, in Cinnamon Cider Ink.
After adding a bit of color to the flowers with a Bumblebee Stampin’ Write Marker, I glued the layer to a Mint Macaron card base, 8 1/2” X 5 1/2”, folded at 4 1/4”.
The dragonfly was colored using the “ink to stamp” technique on the Stamparatus. I used Stampin’ Write Markers in Cinnamon Cider (body) and Mint Macron (wings). The dragonfly was cut using the Dragonflies Punch, attached with Dimensionals, and my card was complete.
I was inspired by the colors at Fab Friday.
