Animals know how to relax, and we need to take a lesson from them. Right? Today’s card is clean & simple, and was finished in a jiffy, so I could go and relax! LOL
Relax!
The first thing I did was fussy cut the cat from the Playful Pets Designer Paper. You can see all of the cats and dogs by clicking on the picture in my Product List below.
Because this cat is the color of Cinnamon Cider, I used that color to color the black & white geometric pattern of True Love Designer Paper. I achieved the mottled look by using light & dark Stampin’ Blends that come in a combo pack.
The cat’s tongue and ears are the color of Flirty Flamingo, so I used that cardstock for the largest triangle.
The cat is attached with Dimensionals to the smallest, Basic White triangle, stamped with the sentiment.
“Relax your way,” from A Good Man Stamp Set, was stamped in Stazon Ink. Perfect, huh?
Prior to adhering the triangles, I used the largest Stitched With Whimsy Die to add detail to the border of the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Quick & easy!
