Who doesn’t like free stuff? This pack of Dashing Along Designer Series Paper was “free” with my last order. Since my September order of Stampin’ Up products was the qualifying amount of $250, the exclusive, Dashing Along Paper was included! Four of the patterns are pictured in today’s project.

Dashing Deer Dashing Along
I love the traditional red and green colors for Christmas cards. And, now I understand why the paper is named Dashing Along; because the patterns coordinate with the Dashing Deer Bundle!
Remember my tapestry, standing deer, “Tappy,” that I stamped in Tranquil Tide ink?

Today’s tapestry, flying deer is cut with a Detailed Deer die from a piece of Cherry Cobbler Dashing Along DSP. I backed him with cardstock, so the tips of his antlers and hind legs would be sturdy. Then, I layered him on a Whisper White circle, cut with a Stitched Shapes die, and added dimensionals under the circle. The third die I used is from Bunch of Banners, for “Merry Christmas” from the Star of Light stamp set.

The fun mix of patterns reminds me of the once popular “twin prints.” I still find the look appealing, so I went with it today for the TGIF challenge. And, I thought it was a good way to let you see the Dashing Along DSP.
The card base is Garden Green, layered with a Dashing Along, floral, red & green print. The two vertical strips, also from Dashing Along, approximate the sketch. The card is photographed on a fun, green and white, Dashing Along, newsprint.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing the Dashing Along DSP. Keep scrolling to see all of the products in today’s project.
Have a great day!

Thanks for this layout Su, I love this paper, and am using it for card kits for our church’s card ministry. We are making 230 cards for this Christmas Season to give to folks who have lost friends and relatives this year (Yes, it’s a big church!) Thank you so much for this lovely layout using this fun paper.
Anne, what a great ministry! Thank you for commenting on my post from 2018. It’s nice to know that older posts can be useful!
This is a fabulous card which perfectly fits our sketch challenge at TGIF! I just love all your yummy layers of DSP. Thanks for joining us at TGIF this week. Smiles, Elizabeth
Great cards. Love the way you used different patterns of papertogether.
Thank you, Cheryl! I’m so glad you like it!
I have been trying to CASE this beautiful card of yours. However, my math skills are insufficient. Would yo mind sharing the dimensions of the DSP panel & strips. Thank you for sharing
Hi Peggy,
The strips are 3/4″ X 4″ on top of the standard 5 1/4″ X 4″ panel. Hope this helps.
