While I was working with the three colors for yesterday’s card, two more cards developed. The first is #simplestamping (stamps, ink and paper).
The colors are Blueberry Bushel, Real Red, and Call Me Clover. The card base is Call Me Clover Cardstock, layered with Whisper White Cardstock.

I used four stamps: The top stamp is from the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set; the tree is from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, and I see I forgot to picture the tree trunk; the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set.
It doesn’t get much simpler than this!

The second card is a stepped up version with a single die-cut. I used a Stitched Shapes Die to cut an oval in the middle of Whisper White Cardstock.
Then, I used the same Geared Up Garage Stamp to smudge Blueberry Bushel Ink around the edge, and glued the white layer to the Blueberry Bushel card base.

Next, I stamped the tree and trunk in Call Me Clover Ink on the center of the oval, and placed it on Dimensionals in the die-cut hole. I stamped the same, curvy sentiment in Real Red Ink, and it could have been complete.

But, did you notice the pretty snow?

Stampin’ Up! has two new products in the Holiday Catalog to make these beautiful snowflakes. First, I dotted the Shimmery Crystal Effects, which has subtle shine, and acts like a glue. The magic happened when I sprinkled on the Ice Stampin’ Glitter, and it attached, forming crystals!

I hope you are as excited about the new snowflakes as I am. You can see details by clicking on the pictures in my Product List.
Thank you for checking out my #simplestamping. Have a great day!
