The Flowering Zinnias Designer Paper is gorgeous, and today’s card shows it in a 3″ circle. I used a Deckled Circles Die for cutting, and placed it on Dimensionals. Then, I used the same die to cut a circle in Basic White Cardstock, 4 ” X 5 1/4″.

Circle of Zinnias
Did you know that photopolymer stamps can bend to fit a curved shape? For this design, I used a long, Wonderful Thoughts stamp, to fit around a Deckled circle. To Accomplish this, I placed the Deckled Circles Die on a Clear Block, then “stuck” the sentiment next to the circle’s edge. After stamping, “You’re wonderful, you’re loved, you matter,” in Memento Black Ink, I stamped it on the card front. I also stamped “Hi friend,” from the same stamp set, at the top of the circle.
After stamping the sentiment, I embossed the Basic White Cardstock with the Zinnia Embossing Folder. Then, I glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, and attached the circle of zinnias.
The last step was adding a bow of Black & White Gingham Ribbon. I cut the ribbon in half to make a thinner bow, and attached it with a Glue Dot. I love the combo of black, white, and bright, don’t you?

Beautiful card, Sue! Just one question, where are you using the white circle that you cut out?

Hi Toni, I’m not using the cut-out circle, but having the hole in the white cardstock helped me line up the stamped sentiment.
Ahh, got it now, thank you so much 🙂
Thank you, Toni!
