Frog Wishes

Frog said I should apologize immediately, so I will. I’m sorry for using the Hop Around die set, because it’s no longer available. But, I’ve had the dies such a short time, and Frog wasn’t wanting to wait for fussy cutting. Plus, I needed a lily pad for Frog to sit on, so I couldn’t resist.

More die cuts came into play with “birthday” and “wishes,” which I cut from Basic Black cardstock. Frog’s branch and balloons are also die cuts. The Branch and the words are from the Well Written die set, and the balloons are from the Candles & Confetti die set.

The balloons were stamped in three pretty colors of ink, inspired by the Fab Friday challenge: Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, and Flirty Flamingo. I “stamped off” the balloons, so they would be a lighter shade.

Frog is the fourth color, Lemon Lime Twist, which I Sponge Daubed on him, after stamping him in Black ink on Whisper White cardstock. He made me stop, because he said it tickled. The lily pad and branch got the same treatment.

Frog wanted to show off his beautiful balloons in the TGIF balloon challenge also.

Frog’s pond was made with the Ruffled embossing folder. He was quite “hoppy” with the results.

I hope you enjoyed seeing Frog’s birthday card. Have a great day! Check out my Product List below, minus the Hop Around dies. (sorry)
