The Stampin’ Fancy Friday Design Team is a group of past and continuing Artisans, bringing our followers a fancy monthly challenge for inspiration. This month’s challenge is “bold & bright.”
I created two “fun fold” cards with six of Stampin’ Up’s bright colors; one in portrait, and one in landscape orientation.

Bright & Bold Fun Fold Cards
For the birthday card, I stamped the heart, from the Hearts Of Elegance Bundle, in Granny Apple, Green Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie. After stamping the hearts on Basic White Cardstock, I used their Hearts Of Elegance Die for cutting, along with three, plain, white, hearts for backing. Next, I cut Thick Basic White Cardstock, 7″ X 5 1/4″, folded at 3″, creating the fun fold. The front was decorated with Full Of Life Designer Paper in the same bright colors, 2 3/4″ X 5″. After gluing the hearts in place, I stamped “Happy Birthday,” from the So Sincere Stamp Set, used a Friends For Life Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. The last step was gluing this white card base to Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, and adding three Shiny Sequins.
The inside was stamped with “Knowing you brings joy to my heart,” also from the So Sincere Stamp Set. This picture shows how the hearts look with backing.
The Valentine fun fold was created a bit differently. I began with a Petunia Pop card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Then, I glued Full Of Life Designer Paper to the front, 4″ X 5 1/4″, and simply cut 1 inch off the card front. This time I stamped the hearts in Petunia Pop, Berry Burst, and Melon Mambo. “Happy Valentine’s Day” is from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set, and Something Fancy Dies were used for cutting.
The sentiment inside is also from the Hearts Of Elegance Stamp Set.

Wow, I all most missed theses, unique, love them. I’ve been looking all over for new Valentine examples. You came though. More please.
Thank you, Nancy Sue! The new, Sale-a-bration set, Heart Shaped Bundle, is great for Valentines also.
I absolutely love your designs. I am a demonstrator in Arizona, but strictly for the discounts. I was wondering, since I don’t see any kit packages that you sell, if you would consider selling the tutorials for your cards. I don’t have a creative gene in my body so I. Rely on other demonstrators who are more gifted than I am. Thank you. Jan
Thank you, Janice. That’s such a nice compliment. I don’t have tutorials for sale, just the instructions I give freely on my blog.
Sue, Love the nice card ideas and love the red shoes you wear in your picture and the sweet little one. Have a Happy New Year 2025!
Hi Pat, Thank you! The shoes are comfortable ,too!
