So, I took the plunge into the world of Brusho.

Brusho Valentine Hearts
What’s Brusho, you ask? Watch Stampin’ Up’s introductory video:
I started with the idea of hearts for a Valentine card, and got out the Brilliant Red container of Brusho. I followed the directions, and poked three holes in the lid. I did not want red powder all over everything. I had a piece of regular Whisper White cardstock that I had embossed with the Hexagon folder, and thought I’d use it for experimenting.
I spritzed it with water, and sprinkled on the Brusho, tapping gently on the bottom of the container.
I liked my experiment! After letting it dry, I pressed it flat under a heavy book, because it had curled. I used the heart die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits set to cut the hearts.
The sentiment on the fourth heart is from the Sure Do Love You stamp set, and fits within the same heart die perfectly.
The background is made with the Simple Stripes embossing folder. I used Thick Whisper White, and glued it to the Thick Whisper White card base. I was able to tear apart four sections of three stripes each. It came apart easily this way, so I went with it.
I placed dimensionals on the four hearts atop the stripes, and took the photos for you to see. I hope you enjoy Brusho as much as I’m going to!
Thanks for visiting. Have a wonderful day!
Another awesome card Su! Love this one!
Thanks so much Lynn! I’m looking forward to doing more with Brusho!
