Angles can add interest to a design, and the Stitched Triangles Dies make it easy. Follow along to see how I used them to cut the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper. By the way, this paper is on sale now, but the sale ends Oct 31. Clicking on its picture below will take you to my store for ordering.

Stitched Triangles Design
First, I selected the two Stitched Triangles that would make the angle I wanted, and used them to cut two different patterns of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Paper.
Once I saw how the triangles would fit together, I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, 3 1/2″ X 5″, to accommodate the angle, and embossed it with the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. After gluing the embossed layer to the Thick Whisper White card base, I glued the triangles in place. The triangle on the right was glued first, and is partially covered by the triangle on the left.

The tree was cut from Mossy Meadow Cardstock with a Pine Woods Die, and glued at the center of the angle.

“Very Merry” is from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set, stamped in Real Red Ink, and cut with an Ornate Frames Die. I unbraided a 2″ piece of Real Red Braided Linen Trim (this month’s Host Code gift), to make a few strands fit through the tiny hole on the tag.

I was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches.

I love these pretty Christmas patterns and all of the lovely texture! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
Wonderful
Christmas card. I like it, and the snowflakes background makes it look so pretty. The 2 different angles really brings it out too.
Thanks for sharing.
The card is so pretty. And besides it looks like you could probably use some of your scraps for the triangles (if you have some that large. Ha)
