When challenged to make a clean & simple card with fruit, the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set was the answer. Follow along to see how I colored the peaches with the “ink-to-stamp” technique.

Sweet Peach

I started with a Thick Basic White card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″), which would remain without layers.

Coloring the peaches, from the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set was really fun, using the Stamparatus and the “ink-to-stamp” technique. You can click on the picture of the Stamparatus in my Product List to learn more about it.

I stuck the peach stamp to the lid of the Stamparatus, colored the stamp with a Pale Papaya Stampin’ Write Marker and a  Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend, and lowered the lid, stamping on Basic White Cardstock. I repeated the process to make three peaches, and used a Peach Die for cutting. Don’t they look fuzzy?

Next, I used a Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker for the leaves, in the same manner, and used a Peach Die for cutting.

After gluing the leaves to the peaches, I placed the peaches on Dimensionals, and attached the peaches to the card front.

The tiny blossoms were cut from Thick Basic White Cardstock with Peach Dies, and glued in place, with assistance from the Take Your Pick Tool. This tool makes picking up tiny pieces so much easier. I forgot to put it in my Product List, but its number is 144107.

The black & white stripe is Pattern Party Designer Paper, a 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ strip, that I cut and glued to the edge for pizzazz.

Guess where I found the sentiment…. you’re right, it’s from the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set. I stamped it in Black Stazon Ink, used an Ornate Frames Die for cutting, attached it with Dimensionals, and my clean & simple card was complete.

My inspiration came from the Paper Players.
