I always look for a cute Santa in our holiday catalog, and I found him in the Sweetest Star Bundle. Plus, I’m happy to say, there is a punch for cutting. I used the Sweetest Star Punch to cut three stars from Take A Bow Designer Paper, and added dimension to the stars by a method described on page 47 of the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. Ordering from this catalog begins September 4, and I will have a digital copy on my blog that day. If you are one of my customers, you’ll receive a catalog in the mail.
Next, I stamped Santa in Memento Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used the Sweetest Star Punch for cutting. Then, I colored him using Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Crumb Cake, Ivory, and Basic Black.
The background is Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, glued to a Garden Green card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Before attaching the stars with Dimensionals, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink. “Season’s Greetings” is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, available now in Online Exclusives. Click on it in my Product List below to see the many, great sentiments. I embellished my card with peppermint candy. Doesn’t it look good enough to eat?

You always have a unique take on stamps and DSP! This stamp wasn’t even close to tempting me when I saw it in the catalog, and none of the examples I’ve seen have called to me, either, but you’ve done it again.
Item added to my next order! 😊
Thank you, Linda! That’s a very nice compliment!
Cute design on this Christmas card, love how you used thePunch on the DSP as the background.
Thank you, Nancy Sue! Everyone loves punches!
