I love cotton quilts, and today’s card is a miniature “paper” cotton quilt. After stamping and die-cutting, I used the Timber Embossing Folder to give it texture.
Cotton Quilt
It was really fun to stamp the floral images from the “early-release” stamp set, Eden’s Garden. It will be available November 2nd, and in the meantime, I’ve listed the details below.
I used four of Eden’s Garden stamps to stamp randomly in four colors: Just Jade, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, and Sahara Sand.
The stamping was done on Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″, leaving room for a die-cut border.
I used the largest Scalloped Contours Die to cut the border on my stamped piece, and glued this to a Sahara Sand card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Oh, prior to gluing, I attached the sentiment.
“Hello There” is from the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set, stamped in Just Jade Ink on Thick Basic White Cardstock, and cut with the smallest Scalloped Contours Die. I placed it on Dimensionals, strung Linen Thread through its cute holes, and taped the thread to the back.
For a bit of sparkle, I added three Artistry Blooms Sequins.
Eden’s Garden will be available November 2nd, two months before the new Spring catalog is available. You’re going to want this “early release!”

You may have overlooked Wee, but please note, she is a small kiwi bird from the Count On Me Stamp Set. (She asked me to say that). She also asked me to stamp her in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and make her come to life by cutting her free, and coloring her with Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.
Wee’s card
Wee thinks Gray Granite is the prettiest color on the planet, and chose it for the card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Wee loves tiny dots, and said to find the perfect, Pattern Party Designer Paper, to use for her background. Then, she wanted me to give it a border, using the largest Ornate Layers Die.
For the sentiment, Wee wanted me to stamp “Birthday,” from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set, in Tuxedo Black Ink on Gray Granite Cardstock, to match the card base. She hadn’t seen the Eden Die I used for cutting, because it’s an early release, and not available until November 2nd. She thought it would be impolite, if I didn’t explain the details, so I listed them below.
Wee wasn’t sure how to use the Playful Alphabet Dies, and thought I should explain it to you also.
I attached a 1″X 3″ piece of striped, Pattern Party Designer Paper, to a 1″ X 3″ piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet, placed the letters on top, and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Then, I turned the letters upside down, and ran it through a second time to make sure it was a good cut.
The Foam Adhesive Sheet is an easy way to give the small letters wonderful dimension, and it’s easy to peel the backing and stick them to the card front. We were both “happy” to see how the five letters fit perfectly.
Wee hopped on the “Y,” very pleased with her birthday card.
Wee wanted to share her card with the Paper Players, because she said it was “clean-and-simple,” and definitely a birthday card.

I just received the “early-release” Eden’s Garden Bundle, and was excited to use one of the dies for today’s card. This is a special, “early-release” from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog with more details below.
I’m in love with this rectangular wreath! To give the wreath variation in color, I used a green pattern of Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper.
Pumpkin Wreath
I chose Basic White Cardstock for the background of my wreath, 5 1/2″ X 4″, and stamped the sentiment in the center.
“If friends were pumpkins I’d pick you” is from the Pretty Pumpkins Stamp Set, stamped in Stazon Black Ink.
Prior to gluing the layer to a Crumb Cake card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I gave it texture with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.
The five, little, pumpkins were cut with a Seasonal Swirls Die from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, and attached with Dimensionals.
A bow of Bumblebee Gingham Trim was the final touch, attached with a Glue Dot.
