Today’s card is my first creation with this set, which I think is great for masculine cards.
I began with a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, layered with Mossy Meadow Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″. Before gluing, I used a Garden Meadow Die to cut the arc in the center. Then, I used the same die to cut a pattern of Hello Irresistible Designer Paper to fill in the arched space.
Planted Paradise
Next, I stamped the pots and plants in five colors of Ink: Cajun Craze, Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Granny Apple Green.
After stamping, I fussy cut the pots and plants, added a little glue, and attached them with Dimensionals.
“Happy Birthday” is from the Translucent Florals Stamp Set, stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink. Don’t you think this card is suitable for a man?

The Bee Mine Suite includes the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, Bee Mine 12″ X 12″ DSP, Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers, Bee Builder Punch, Bordered Ribbon, and 10 Square Pillow Boxes.
This is my second sneak peek using this fun suite. I began with a Lemon Lolly card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, followed by layers of Bee Mine Designer Paper. First is Petal Pink, honeycomb, 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, layered with a bee pattern, 1/8″ smaller. Second is Petal Pink honeycomb, 2 3/4″ X 3 1/2″, layered with a yellow plaid, 1/8″ smaller. The top layer is Petal Pink honeycomb, 3 1/2″ X 3/4″ and Basic White Cardstock 2/ 3/4″ X 3/4″, both flagged on the end.
Be Mine Suite
The darling bee was easy to create with the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set and Bee Builder Punch. I stamped the body in Lemon Lolly Ink on Basic White Cardstock, followed by the stripes and antennae in Memento Black Ink, and the wings in Petal Pink Ink. Then, I used the punch for cutting, glued her wings and antennae, and attached her with Dimensionals. Her cheeks are Real Red, Stampin’ Blend dots.
Before gluing, I stamped “bee mine” on the top layer, and I added two hearts that come in the suite. The last detail was the bee “trail,” a stamp in the Be My Valentine Stamp Set.

For today’s card, I used Blending Brushes to color the red rubber stamp from the Calming Camellia Stamp Set.
First, I attached the “Distinktive” stamp to the lid of the Stamparatus. Second, I rubbed the brush on the ink pad, and applied it to the stamp. Third, I lowered the lid onto Basic White Cardstock (3 3/4″ X 5″), held in place by a magnet. This was repeated until I was happy with the saturation of color for all three colors: Polished Pink, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie. Before cleaning the brushes between colors, and moving the stamp to a new position on the lid, I brushed a touch of color around the stamped image.
Blending Brush Technique
To make the colors pop, I framed my leaves with Basic Black Cardstock, cut 1/8″ larger for a 1/16″ border. This was attached with Dimensionals to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
I also stamped the fantastic, curlicue from the Calming Camellia Stamp Set in Memento Black Ink.
To add even more black, I used heat embossing for the sentiment. I stamped, “you made my day,” from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. Next, I used the Messages Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals.
For a bit of Sparkle I added three, Artistry Blooms Sequins. I love these self-sticking sequins!

Today’s card is featuring two FREE Sale-a-bration items: Island Vibes Stamp Set and Simply Marbleous Designer Paper.
Tropical Thanks
I began with Simply Marbleous Designer Paper, 4 3/4″ X 3 1/2″, stamping the pretty, tropical plant from the Island Vibes Stamp Set, in Garden Green Ink, around the edge. Then, I layered it on Shaded Spruce Cardstock, 1/8″ larger, giving it a 1/16″ border, and attached it to a Pool Party card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
The final step was using two Amazing Thanks Dies to cut the word “thanks.” The “bubble” was cut from Shaded Spruce Cardstock, and “thanks” was cut from the same designer paper as the background. Once cut, I glued them together, and attached the word to the card front with Dimensionals.
