I’m loving the combination of the Fancy Flora Designer Paper and the Ginkgo Branch Bundle.
I began today’s card by cutting a 2″ X 3 7/8″ piece from the 6″ X 6″ pattern of Fancy Flora Designer Paper. Then, I used a Ginkgo Die to cut the leaves from the same pattern, and backed both with Orchid Oasis Cardstock. The backing for the strip is 2 1/8″ X 4 1/8″, and I used the Ginkgo Die to cut the backing for the leaves.
Painted Texture
Next, I glued the strip to Basic White Cardstock, 5 1/4″ X 4″, and embossed the entire layer with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. Doesn’t it remind you of Monet’s water lilies?
After gluing the layer to the Orchid Oasis card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″, I glued the leaves in place.
The sentiment, “thinking of you,” is from the Ginkgo Branch Stamp Set. I stamped it on Fancy Flora Designer Paper in Orchid Oasis Ink, used a Ginkgo Branch Die for cutting, and attached it with Dimensionals. I made the sentiment label shorter by making two cuts, placing the die on top of the first cut.
For a little sparkle, I added three Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins, which is my Host Gift this month. See the details below.

The Fancy Flora Designer Paper is sensational, and all you need is a die-cut and sentiment for a quick & easy card. You can see all of the beautiful patterns by clicking on the picture in my Product List below.
For today’s card, I chose a pattern (4″ X 5 1/4″) to blend with a Soft Succulent card base (8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″).
Ginkgo and Fancy Flora
Next, I cut ginkgo leaves from Evening Evergreen Cardstock, using a Ginkgo Branch Die, and glued it in place.
The sentiment, “sending hope and peace,” is from the Ginkgo Branch Stamp Set. I stamped it in Evening Evergreen Ink on Soft Sea Foam Cardstock. Then, I used its Ginkgo Branch Die for cutting, attached it with Dimensionals, and my quick & easy card was complete.

Today’s card was created with the Sale-a-bration Host Stamp Set, Scenic Garden. This set has beautiful, detailed images, that I thought would be fun to color with the heat embossing technique. I began by stamping the image with the gate in VersaMark on Basic White Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, and set it with the Heat Tool. To color, I used seven colors of Stampin’ Blends: Crumb Cake, Pale Papaya, Gray Granite, Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, and Petal Pink.
Heaven’s Gate
After carefully filling in the tiny embossed spaces with color, I used a Blending Brush and Pool Party Ink to smooth over the image. To keep a “dreamy” feel, I used the third largest Layering Diorama Die for cutting.
While coloring, I decided this would make a perfect sympathy card, and used the Raindrops Embossing Folder on the Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
Next, I glued the image to the card base, and found “with sympathy” in The Ginkgo Branch Stamp Set. Then, I used an Eden Die to cut the label from Thick Basic White Cardstock, stamped the sentiment in Memento Black Ink, and attached it with Dimensionals. I usually stamp the sentiment before die cutting, but this die is solid, rather than open.
The final touch was adding some Sea Glass to the foreground. The Sea Glass happens to be my Host Code Gift this month, and you can see the details below.

Last week I shared a sneak peek of the Ginkgo Stamp Set, and today I’m sharing a Ginkgo Die. This large die is fabulous, and I love how it looks cut from the new Fancy Flora Designer Paper. This designer paper took my breath away, when I first saw it at OnStage.
Fancy Flora Ginkgo Branch
For the background, I embossed Basic White Cardstock, 4″ X 5 1/4″, with the new Raindrops Embossing Folder.
The Raindrops Embossing Folder is my “Host Code Gift” for the month of December, and it makes great teardrops for sympathy cards. Only 7 more days in December, so place your order soon!
After embossing, I glued the layer to a Gray Granite card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“With sympathy” is from the Ginkgo Branch Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Black Ink, cut with a Potted Succulents Die, and attached with Mini Dimensionals.

Ginkgo trees have a distinctive beauty, and the Ginkgo Branch Bundle was among my top favorites from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog, available January 5, 2023.
Today’s card is CAS (clean and simple), and it was fun to simply stamp the ginkgo branch in Pear Pizzazz Ink on Basic White Cardstock. Then, I used a Blending Brush to add a light touch of background color with Balmy Blue Ink.

After stamping, I used the second largest Deckled Rectangles Die to cut the Basic White Cardstock, and the largest Deckled Rectangles Die to cut Balmy Blue Cardstock for a border.
Next, I glued the two layers to a Mossy Meadow card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4.
Prior to gluing, I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive Ink. “With sympathy” is one of four sentiments from the Ginkgo Branch Stamp Set. Isn’t the font pretty?
The last step was highlighting the Ginkgo leaves with a Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blend, and my CAS card was complete.
