For today’s thank you card, I pulled out one of my favorite sets that I haven’t played with in a while, Textured Floral. I began by randomly stamping a flower in Bubble Bath Ink, and Lemon Lolly Ink, on Basic White Cardstock. After stamping, I used the largest Perennial Postage Die for cutting, and glued it to a Thick Basic White card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″. Don’t you love this border?
Next, I stamped the large flower in Bubble Bath Ink, and the leaves in Old Olive Ink on Basic White Cardstock, and used their Textured Floral Dies for cutting. I also used a Textured Floral Die to cut the sprigs from Vellum Basics DSP. Believe it, or not, Vellum is quite sturdy, so I only glued a small portion under the flower. The raised sprigs add wonderful dimension. One set of leaves was glued flat, and one was attached on Dimensionals with the flower.
In contrast to the softness is, “Thank you,” from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. I stamped it in VersaMark on Basic Black Cardstock, sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder, set it with the Heat Tool, and attached it with Dimensionals.
To complete the card, I added three, Iridescent Rhinestones for some sparkle.
