Okay, pig lovers, here she comes!

This Little Piggy happens to be one of the stamp sets that Stampin’ Up! informed us will carry-over to the new 2019-2020 catalog. I’ve seen so many adorable cards with these piggies. I’m happy to say, I ordered the set, and now I can make my own.

Carry-Overs for Inquiring Minds

I began by stamping the flying pig in Black ink on Watercolor Paper, and coloring with three Stampin’ Blends: Light Calypso Coral, Dark Petal Pink, and Light Mint Macaron.

The pig fit perfectly within the largest Stitched Shapes circle die, which I trimmed with the largest Layering Circles die.

For her background, I chose a piece of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper in Soft Sea Foam to blend in with a Soft Sea Foam card base. The strip of flowers is from our Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, which is 1″ X 5 1/4″.

 I added a 1/4″ X 5 1/4″ strip to mimic this week’s challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

The sentiment, “She believed she could…” is attached to the flying pig stamp, so easy to stamp in one motion. There’s a stamp for the inside which says, “… so she did.” How cute is that!
