The Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper provides beautiful backgrounds for stamping. If you haven’t tried stamping on designer paper, you must give this a try! The Delicate Forest Stamp Set has wonderful images, which I stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink (tall tree), Wild Wheat Ink (foreground wildflowers), and Mossy Meadow Ink (distant trees).
Here is the Delicate Forest Stamp Set. Can you see the stamps I used?
Next, I glued my stamped, designer paper on a Lost Lagoon card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, folded at 4 1/4″.
“You make good things better” is from the Delicate Forest Stamp Set, stamped in Shaded Spruce Ink on the designer paper. After stamping, I used a Delicate Forest label die for cutting, glued it to two cuts of cardstock, before gluing to the card front. The final touch was three, Blooming Pearls.

Ooo. I really like this idea. I will have to try it. I have stamped on DSP but only if there is a lot a large white area or pastel area.
Thank you, Donata! I usually look for lighter areas, also. Just use a darker ink. Have fun!
I follow you each morning as have such great artistic ideas. This card is one of your finest! Thank you for all your posts.
I’m so happy to have you as a follower, Bonnie! Thank you for telling me!
A beautiful card with beautiful paper.
Thank you for your inspiration.
Thank you, Mary Katherine! You are welcome!
Beautiful card!!
ink used says pretty peacock? Where did you use that color? You also reference shaded spruce?
Thank you, Irene! I stamped the tall tree, and sentiment in Shaded Spruce, but mistakenly pictured Pretty Peacock. I think either color could be used.
Great idea, you came up with a winner. So pretty and peaceful looking.
Thank you, Nancy Sue! The Thoughtful Journey DSP is gorgeous!
