It’s Tic Tac Toe, and away we go to Celebration Time. To be honest, this stamp set was not at the top of my list, but it arrived yesterday just in time for this challenge. I discovered I LOVE it, and it may end up being one of my most used stamp sets!

I played the challenge in two rows. I couldn’t help myself!  Across the bottom (birthday, pattern paper, pink) and diagonally (birthday, die-cut, ribbon).

I began the challenge knowing it would be a birthday card, because I was anxious to use my new stamp set. The game specified pink, so I chose our new color, Powder Pink. Patterned paper is “my thing,” and the Fresh Floral Designer Series Paper was an easy choice. I layered it on a Powder Pink card base with Basic Black for contrast. I stamped the “It’s Your Birthday” cake in Powder Pink on Thick White cardstock, and was ready for the really fun part. I rolled this stamped image through the Big Shot using its Celebration die, and out came this adorable cake! Equally impressive was the tag shape in Basic Black, and the two just happened to fit perfectly together! So, I added ribbon, and tied it to the front of this card.

I see some fabulous gift tags in this set’s future. But, let’s talk about the cake. This one is white cake with white frosting, and strawberry filling, perfect for a summer birthday. Oh, I forgot to mention the circular doily that jumped on my card. Oops! I played the top row across too!
