The Timeless Tulip stamp set is great for creating wonderful 3D flowers. There is a Tulip Punch, which really makes things easy, but I cut these by hand.

3D Tulips
First, I stamped two flowers, and four leaves, in Daffodil Delight Ink on Watercolor Paper. I’m calling the ink, “Tulip Delight” for this card. And, I’m turning the leaves into petals, arranged as you see, to make a 3D flower. The Watercolor Paper gives the flowers nice texture.
TIP: I needed to turn two of the petals to the backside, and use a Sponge Dauber to color them, in order to make them fit properly. Isn’t that fun?
Before adding the stems and leaves, I chose background paper from Ornate Gardens DSP, and cut it with an Ornate Layers Die. Beneath it is Whisper White Cardstock, cut with the largest Ornate Frames Die on a Thick Whisper White card base.
The Ornate Gardens DSP is Old Olive with a pretty, gold design, so I wanted to use Gold Foil for the stems and leaves. The leaves were cut with a Bouquet Bunch Die, and the stems are from Sweet Silhouettes Dies.
Last, but not least, “love” is from Well Written Dies, also cut from Gold Foil.
I was inspired by Global Design Project.
The Coastal Weave Embossing Folder is my Host Code gift for April. When you place a $50.00 minimum order in April, I will send you the embossing folder in May. Don’t forget to type my Host Code ( JQT3MUZN ) in the box provided.
