June is a big month for weddings, so I’m planning, and creating cards, ahead of time. How do you like this elevated frame of flowers?

bride & groom

My idea for the frame was inspired by this week’s sketch challenge at Fab Friday.

I began today’s project with a Thick Whisper White card base, layered with striped Blushing Bride, which is in the Subtles 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper Pack.

The words, “bride & groom” are from the Well Written die set, and I’m happy to report, this set is in the new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. I cut the words from Thick Whisper White cardstock, careful not to lose the “i.” The three flowers are from the same die set and paper.  Share What You Love Artisan Pearls were placed in their centers.

To frame the words and flowers, I used a piece of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. First, I reinforced the DSP with a layer of cardstock, using Snail Adhesive. Then, I used two Rectangle Stitched dies for cutting, and Foam Adhesive strip to elevate the frame.

Thank you for visiting me today. You can click on the photo of the Well Written dies in my Product List to see all of the words. This will take you to my store for shopping. The Petal Promenade DSP is retiring, so order now, while supplies last. Thank you for shopping with me!
